Try a SPICY version of our refreshing lemonade without adding processed sugar. We like Honeycrisp or Golden Delicious, but almost any apple will work. Plus, you can mix different types of apples. The big addition to this juice, GINGER. Adding ginger can give you some extra spice to our base lemonade.
- 3 Crisp Apples wedged
- 1/2 Small Lemon wedged (or 1/3 of a Large Lemon wedged)
- Small piece of Ginger
The more ginger, the spicier it will be. When making this the first time, try a small piece of ginger, less than 1 inch. You do not need to peel the ginger, but rinse it off first. The entire apple can be juiced, but some people prefer to not juice the core of the apple as they don't want the seeds juiced. The lemon peel can remain on the lemon wedges as the oil in the peel has the same flavor as the juice. Start with one or two pieces of apple, then drop in the entire piece of ginger. Then, alternate back and forth between the apple and lemon wedges. Enjoy your Sana Juice!
